Sneak peek of

2022 CFB Preview with
@Vol_Football
QB Hendon Hooker on the cover. Vols were significantly better on offense last year by averaging 39.3 points a game – up from 21.5 in 2020
Just over 100 days until the season starts, but I have great news for college football fans. The
@AthlonSports
CFB preview hits newsstands on June 7 (and a little earlier in our online store)!
@Les_Johns
I put Roberson on the list from a national level recognition perspective. ACC/Wake Forest fans know about him. Not sure he was recognized at the national level he deserved for the year he had. Think that changes in '21.
@YourNaborJohn
I think Morris will need a year or two in order to get things going. Some patience will be needed. But I think this is a great fit and hire for Arkansas.

Agree. Iowa State was better after Park took over at QB + a full season now with one of the top 10/15 WR groups in nation. Think 5/6 wins.

McCall, Haener, Tune, Mordecai, Harris and Bonner would be at the top of my list.
Couple of breakout candidates I think in Clay Millen, Dequan Finn, Schlee at Kent State.
@MichaelWBratton
Also think some of the problems at OU last year weren't on the QB. A lot he needs to work on/improve upon, but the talent/upside is still all there (and definitely a big jump in talent for the SC QB room).

May 21st is the official date when it is supposed to hit newsstands but could be out a little earlier in some locations. Will also have them available in our online store next week.
@PickSixPreviews
Really liked the job by Grimes as OC last season too. Averaged 4.4 YPP in '20 to 6.3 LY. And 20 plays of 40+ last season after having three in '20.
@DougZerjal
I wish we could! Still on track for the official release date in May (around the 20th or so) for newsstands. I'm also checking our online store release date just in case we can get them out a little earlier that way too. Appreciate you asking too!
@CFFNate
I was really surprised when our Auburn writer submitted him as the starter. Always seemed like Gatewood/Nix was the battle. And then unfortunately, he transferred right as the magazine hit newsstands.

I buy Southern Miss being much improved this year. So many QB injuries last season clouded any chance of showing progress. Added solid transfer class and the SB West is unsettled with losses at Louisiana/offensive questions at South Alabama.

We have two NFL fantasy covers this year with Gurley and Rodgers. They should be popping up more this week (think official newsstand date is this Tuesday).

We had CFF rankings in the CFB mag back in 2007 or so. On my list for us to look into again (space has just been tight every year unfortunately). Ideally, I think it makes sense for it to be in both magazines (college and fantasy).
