Elon's DOGE efforts are ruining his own company. You see, X was the most addicting place on the planet during the election cycle. I coudn't take my eyes off the news. I spent hours a day here scrolling. But now, Elon and Trump are moving too quickly for this platform. We can't keep up. My X feed is now full of breaking stories from yesterday, this morning, and 20 minutes ago, and it's actually too much to keep up with. I have found myself spending less time here as a result.

@zachlabrum I got a limited inside look for a few years I can only imagine the full picture. So many closed door, heavy weighted, impossible situations he deals with that never surface publicly. Needle threading. Genuinely so so so much respect for him.

All I know is that you want B Santiago on your team. Not on the other team. That’s what I know.
It's not a secret many people dislike Santiago. Here's my unpopular take. Santiago would be good. He gets stuff done. In a time when rev sharing & NIL is paramount, he pushes the envelope at a place like BYU where that is so difficult & rallies the most important ($$$) people.

Prior to Trump & Doge, pretty much everyone would have agreed that the gov was overspending. The national debt was and is our greatest threat. We all knew politicians get unethically rich. Everyone would generally agree that the government needed an overhaul. We all hate career politicians and inefficient government organizations (DMV, TSA, education, IRS, etc) It was only a matter of time until one side blew it up. It just happens to be Trump, surrounded by democrats like Elon, Tulsi, RFK, Zuck, Bezos, etc It just as easily could have been a Democrat. In that scenario, it would have been tough for Republicans to accept the Democrat version of government shake up. I keep seeing tweets from otherwise apolitical people questioning why people oppose these audits. The answer is hatred of the guy getting the credit. The trick is putting tribalist partisan hatred of the administration away and appreciating what’s happening anyway.

@justin_hicken @Truebrewcoug Nah. Last season was special. In a regular season, the cold games don’t fill regardless of price.
