Not true. About $15-20 per day in China and Vietnam shoe factories. I have been to most of them. Street sweepers make more than that. I lived there 10 yrs. Your source is wrong

Hans Troyer from Georgia wins the Bandera 100Km in 7:45.40 which beat Jim Walmsley’s record by 57 secs. It was his first 100Km. He has a bright future in the sport.

Black Canyon 100K is this weekend. I did some analysis on the last 4 weeks training for the elite men. Some have different strategies on the vert and taper. I think keep pushing in final weeks is important. Jared Hazen had no data on Strava last 4 wks.

LOVIT 100 miler just started. Speedgoat Karl Meltzer is the favorite. He set a course record last year with 19:36. This is a difficult mountain course with 17k ft of climbing. It takes place in Ouachita national forest in Arkansas.

Ruptured my hamstring last November at Pinhoti 100 in a bad fall. Repaired with 4 anchors. Yesterday PT experts hooked me up to rubber straps under tension then I ran for two minutes with high knees forward and backward tests. I was nervous since only been hiking a few weeks.

Hoka Mach 6 arrived for testing. It will be released in a few months. This could be the best road shoe of 2024. I have worn Mach series since version 4. They are great for road and light trails.

New bench personal best at 200lbs. I did try 210 but got to test power rack safety bars. My goal is 225 this Spring then start working to 315. Using two legs is helping gains. 5 points of contact is important in the bench. I am a beginner but learning fast.

4th place overall at King of Eagle Mountain trail run in Saginaw, Texas. Extreme heat with high humidity with no tree coverage. Fueled on Tailwind and two electrolyte tabs every 3 miles. I got that secret from others that did it before. I am a high heat runner but this was a

Allie Ostrander (NNormal shoes) made the Team USA XC team at US XC nationals. I am very happy for her due to recent struggles she spoke about on her Youtube channel. Her win at Mount Marathon in the past is a epic video. Mount Marathon in Alaska is the toughest 5k in the world.

Registered today. Back in Ozarks next week for the Arkansas Traveller 100 miler. One change this year is I will use handheld bottles the first 60 miles then the last 40 will use a hydration pack. I have had good luck recently with this combination to reduce lower back issues.
