Two articles about fishing, the first on Sunday 3rd and the second a day later on Monday 4th. This is quite possibly the most

thing I've ever seen.
How it started. How it's going.
They didn't ban the word Easter in 2017 and they haven't banned egg hunts this year. But apart from your tweet being based on falsehoods you're doing a great job! 🙄
Not content with banning the word Easter in 2017 the terribly woke National Trust has banned egg hunts altogether due to their "unhealthy association". 👎
"You have removed an innocent incentive for children to run around in the fresh air getting exercise," slammed one mum. 👍

It's Liverpool. We hate the far right. We detest fascists. We despise Nazis. The Mosque we're protecting is the oldest in the UK.
@mara_yamauchi
"I have found four trans women who correctly ran in the female gender category at parkrun today."
Fixed that for you Mara. You're welcome. 😊
When you see Alpha Centauri trending and get all excited about the possibility scientists have had a major breakthrough in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, only to discover Alpha Centauri is a racehorse... 😂
Tommy Robinson is trending. So here's a reminder that he's had more criminal convictions than the overwhelming majority of UK citizens, for crimes including assault, fraud and purgery.

My mask gets caught on my ear and glasses even using both hands to remove it. That's not struggling, that's normal. At least Biden knows how to wear a mask properly.

I'm with
@PrisonPlanet
on this one. I've just got back from Tesco and couldn't find a single reference to Christmas in the card section, apart from these hidden away where nobody will see them.

We don't know. We also don't know who owns the cars. But that doesn't stop assumptions being made to generate right wing clickbait.

And it's not free flow of people. There are restrictions we can apply, but that doesn't fit the Brexiteer narrative. Same as the passports, we've always had the freedom to make them any colour we want. This change back to blue (black?) is a right royal red herring.
@DMReporter
"What are her qualifications for this job...?"
"Another person put in charge and not for her ability"
It's almost as if these people aren't really interested in finding out what her qualifications and experience are...
@Councillorsuzie
Can you not read?
"A spokesperson for Sadiq Khan has described reports of a pay-per-mile scheme as "complete nonsense", stating: "Sadiq is crystal clear – a pay-per-mile scheme is not on the table and not on his agenda.""
@mara_yamauchi
Yesterday at least four trans women out of 187,000 parkrunners ran in the female gender category at parkrun UK. You can't win an age category. Mara is being deliberately disingenuous when she says otherwise. Nobody got bumped down because it's not a race. Nothing was erased.

Except we don't all say she/her. I say he/him, as do his colleagues and the overwhelming number of people he meets in his daily life.

Nobody needs to drive to the polling station to vote. Polling stations are within walking distance. If you have mobility issues you can vote by post.
This is Sinead Quinn from Quinn Blakey Hairdressers in Oakenshaw, Bradford. Sinead is probably going to end up losing her business and all because she believed some whackjob theory she read online. Don't be like Sinead.
@mohammedakunjee
Where's the due diligence from the police? Surely they would check to see if the complaint were true before knocking on someone's door?
@Adie996
@archer_rs
Not a party.
Not 'guzzling beer'.
Not the early hours of the morning.
Didn't lie.
Didn't mislead Parliament.
Offered to resign if police found he broke the law.
But apart from that you were spot on!
I'm running 5k-a-day in 2019 - that's 1,825 km (1,134 miles), the distance from Liverpool to Helsinki! And I'm hoping to raise £1,825 along the way for Alzheimer's Research UK

Who'd have thought, eh? No doubt the Manchester Evening News guy will make it all about Manchester. Who'd have thought local reporters for local newspapers would ask questions about the local area?
@SpillerOfTea
And you can see what happens when he's directly challenged with facts - he's got nothing to say. Why can't our UK journalists do this with all politicians and not let them get away with spouting bare-faced lies?
@ChoralSymphony
@stephenwhittle
So if I've understood you correctly, you said "Mate, no one cares how you live your life" then went out of your way to not only reply but to deliberately misgender Stephen when you could have just said nothing and moved on. What a sad existence you must lead.
@mara_yamauchi
At least seven trans women ran in the female gender category at parkrun today. Nobody won an age category because that's not a thing.
Well done to all participants and volunteers, particularly Nicki Clark on her 1,000th volunteering occasion! 🧡

@unlit_uplands
That's rubbish. Johnson is talking about the burden of red tape for businesses trading with the EU. Leaving the EU not only replaces this EU red tape with UK red tape but adds a whole load of new costs on top of it. Businesses will be paying MORE not less.

I'm getting "Planes flew before the EU. We will just revert back to the agreements we used to have." They're using the same argument for the NI border conundrum claiming the Common Travel Area solves the problem. Because nobody else has thought of that...
Yeah. Really.
Hey Liverpool History Twitter, I passed this on Dryden Road between Pighue Lane and Milton Road. I can't make out the front, but the top says "ERECTED BY THE OVERSEERS 1868". I'm guessing it's a boundary marker. Can anyone confirm?

It's a run not a race. Nobody got bumped down. Nobody was beaten. And parkrun doesn't publish records. Once again Mara deliberately misrepresents what parkrun is and the status and legitimacy of trans participants.
@ThomasWillett9
Calling trans women 'straight men with a fetish' shows them up for the transphobe they are, just like the rest of the LGB 'Alliance'. This organisation does *nothing* for me as a gay man. I stand 100% alongside my trans friends, and 100% against transphobia and bigotry.
Join me in this thread as I attempt to run

in the City of Liverpool - that's 5,641 streets in total. When I started on 1st July 2020 I'd already completed 211 (3.9%) leaving 5,430 to go. Wish me luck!

Well she was found guilty on all four charges (non of which included praying) by a jury of peers in a court of law. They even took a lot longer to deliberate than most of these J6 cases.
