Dave, you've already deleted the tweet and made an offer of amends. That should be sufficient. Ms Pearson has shown that she's a bully by doxing you. Her employers should be more concerned about her conduct than yours.
The man who killed his children because he believed they had inherited serpent DNA from their mother told the FBI that he was radicalized by the Twitter account of British conspiracy theorist David Icke.

In Spain, the new Socialist government did the opposite, lowering taxes for solar installations. Demand has massively increased as a result.

What grates most is this attempt to reduce this genius (and deeply flawed human) who gave joy to millions to one incident which I reckon most English people got over quite a long time ago. And are we trying to say cheating doesn't happen in football? Or sport? Or life?

I'd never got that from this clip and I really don't think that's what he meant. His only thought is to defend Obama. There's a video with a man accusing Obama of supporting domestic terrorism and McCain gives a similar response. I don't believe for a second he's a racist.
I'd actually forgotten that Ryan Giggs is still officially Wales manager. His case was adjourned until August due to a lack of court space in the criminally neglected British judicial system.
I think this has made me as angry as anything over the past few months. A perfectly reasonable question given a pathetic, insulting response. How can they get away with this?
Imposition of 10pm curfew on hospitality industry was entirely avoidable, but became inevitable due to Govt’s shambolic privatised test & trace system.
Instead of fobbing me off again or giving misinformation, it’d be good if Health Secretary could actually answer my question.

Just feel a real emptiness. I realise Labour's a broad church but it shouldn't be accommodating 9/11 truthers or anti-Semites like at least one of those who tried to deselect Luciana Berger.
So, 'Lockdown Sceptics', Covid cases have fallen and are falling 2-3 weeks since the last lockdown began. Just as they did for the first lockdown. Still saying they don't work? What else could have caused it?

He finished top-3 in two Diamond League events before Tokyo and says he has a knee problem. I don't think his winning time (on a very fast track) was out of the ordinary - I just think he performed to his best when others didn't.

So it's not right to point out the hypocrisy of the likes of Farage and Johnson when they jump on a bandwagon like this? The Express front page split between sending migrants back to France and celebrating Raducanu was breathtaking.

This would be great and give FIFA a delicious dilemma. But I imagine if you'd worked your whole career to get to the World Cup, you'd have very mixed feelings about this sort of protest. In theory, I agree. In practise... not so sure.
Controversial opinion - I don't want Cressida Dick to resign tomorrow. Because I don't believe she was the one giving the orders. You can probably guess who I think was responsible...
@PolProfSteve
Disagree. I'm no Corbynite and I've given Starmer the benefit of the doubt plenty in recent months. But not publicly supporting your own MP until Johnson says something is just woeful.

I have had some fairly incomplete thoughts about Sunday’s scenes and the aftermath thereof, which I have cobbled together into this article.
As always, I am grateful to anyone who takes the time to read and share xx

Phew, he's popular. For those suggesting I read more about Icke, I'm old enough to remember him saying he was the "son of God" on Wogan. That should have been a career-ender, but all credit to him for making a lot of money out of some very gullible people.
Great to see people so confident that Emma Raducanu will now win every tournament going and become a "billion-dollar" player. Winning Slams is hard. There's a fair chance she won't win another.
I'm a vegan who, despite liking horse racing (albeit not as much as I used to), will probably concede that it won't go on forever. However, this lot are a bunch of crackpots incapable of making a constructive case for their cause.
It was clear to security and police that several individuals attempted to enter the track before the race began, but race organisers chose to steam ahead regardless. The fact that the individuals involved were on the course's last stretch is no excuse for the Jockey Club's

Don't like Cummings but can't share the despair/anger at his interview. You, the British public, fell for it. He wasn't the only person - hello, Tory MPs - who knew Johnson was unfit to be PM. In a democracy we get the leaders we deserve. Learn from it. Make better choices.
I do wish people wouldn't tar the whole of the BBC with the BBC News brush. While their political coverage has been disappointing of late, some of the BBC's output is without parallel. You'll miss it when it's gone.
- "Bit concerned about this Brexit lark. Companies moving abroad, uncertainty over trade deals, shortages in nursing and seasonal workers..."
- "Mate, just look at that blue passport!"
- "I take it all back. It's all worth it. RULE, BRITANNIA. BRITANNIA RULES THE WAVES..."
Nigel Farage is not a man of the people. Boris Johnson is not a man of the people. Jacob Rees-Mogg is not a man of the people. I pity those who believed that their beloved Brexit project was for the good of the country rather than their own selfish interests.
What Emma Raducanu has done is truly unprecedented. As shocks goes, in my lifetime, it's up there with John Daly's first major win and Leicester winning the Premier League. She's played in ONE WTA Tour event. It's absolutely bonkers.

Not feeling this breakaway party but it's made me realise I can't support Labour with Corbyn and his acolytes in charge. I am now politically homeless.
EU migrants have been able to “treat the UK as if it’s part of their own country” for too long, Boris Johnson said yesterday as he reprised the core message of Vote Leave’s 2016 EU referendum campaign.
Basically this UK 'lockdown', for want of a better word, is over. Everything's now a judgment call which means if you want to see your parents/grandparents etc, there's nothing to stop you.
Absolutely in awe of the way Mick Lynch has singlehandedly cut through the bullshit of the 24-hour news cycle by just being direct and good at his job. Let's just enjoy it while we can.
I honestly can't understand why people aren't more angry about (checks notes) more than 20,000 lives being lost due to a government failing to protect its people. Very few countries have managed it perfectly but the UK has pretty much got it wrong at every turn. /1
To all those hailing Johnson's walk through Kyiv with Zelenskiy, I say this - he will say anything and do anything to look good. Take everything he says with a large helping of salt. And don't bank on him keeping his promises, because he's broken them his entire life.

You "fully support democratic opposition" but in the tweet Mr Esler rightly called you up on, you said the Treason Act should now apply to "those undermining the U.K. through extreme EU loyalty". It is your standards of professionalism which are woefully lacking.
