Ultimately this US Open Cup dispute comes down to a dispute over branding.

If the same or similar group of players wear the jersey of an MLS Next Pro team - that's an outrage

I know this might not be popular to say since I am in a USL League. But the NISA league core of Detroit City, CFC, Cosmos and Miami FC is a much more attractive league than USL L1 (Greenville, Richmond, Fwd Madison and N Texas) has at this point for D3..

What has Apple done? They don't promote the league. There is no difference in content. Lost local connections to league. The Messi deal is a +, but also more than MLS. Without ESPN, MLS is not here today!
