My first theatrical watch of The Blackening, I sat next to a black couple I didn’t know. By the middle of the movie, we were hitting each other laughing and adding commentary. It was THE theater experience.
I watched The Blackening on Prime last night. Hilarious. Well-written. Great ensemble. X Mayo is my new favorite person. I hate I didn’t see this in a theater with a bunch of n*ggas. I know y’all was cutting up. Definitely check it out if you haven’t already.
