Chillingham Road Primary school had a problem with pavement parking (and driving). Last year I installed 2 benches. They were well received. So I fundraised for more benches and planters. Now it's a safe space for everyone to use. @ChilliRoad #tacticalurbanism

@decibel42 @KiMcGuinness @My_Metro Most cars can carry 5 people, but they don't. Even at 1/8th capacity, a bus-lane is still more effective than a mixed-use lane. Everyone wants the same thing, fewer cars. It's counterintuitive to many, but better bus / active travel / metro makes it's easier to drive.
