We'll be overhauling our aging fleet with our largest ever SkyTrain order. This order of 205 new SkyTrain cars will grow capacity on the Expo and Millennium lines and prepare our system for upcoming SkyTrain expansion. The first new train is expected to arrive in 2023.

We're pleased to announce that we have awarded a contract to
@novabus_
to bring 15 more battery-electric buses to our fleet. This will more than quadruple our current fleet of battery-electric buses from 4 to 19.
The new ⚡ kid in town is now running on the 100 Marpole Loop/22nd Street Station route! When all 15 of these new buses are in service, we're reducing over 1,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually.

The SeaBus is celebrating its 47th anniversary!
On June 17, 1977, the SeaBus sailed its maiden voyage across the Burrard Inlet, becoming the Metro Vancouver transit system’s first passenger ferry service.

All bus and SeaBus services will resume on Wednesday, January 24. Full service is expected to resume by 5 a.m.
Service will begin at 3:30 a.m. and may take some time to return. NightBus will resume service Wednesday overnight (Thursday morning).
