@LFCLaurie In their primes I’m taking Firmino over Jesus any day of the week. Prime Firmino scored loads of goals, while being the perfect deep-lying centre forward. The most important cog of one of the best Premier League machines of all time.

@AnythingLFC_ I'm not having this. Darwin deserves criticism after what happened yesterday. Watkins doesn't play for a top 4 team, meanwhile Haaland is still scoring and not costing Man City points. I'm not writing Darwin off, but he has to start burying those chances. There are no excuses.

@Watch_LFC I’m not going to accept De Zerbi or Amorim coming in to replace Klopp. It has to be a manager of an elite calibre. Right now it feels like Alonso has to be the one to go for.

@AnfieldWatch Definitely nowhere near where we want to be seeing as this time last season we were fighting on 4 fronts. However, we can salvage this torrid season by getting top 4 and then regrouping and then rebuilding in the summer. We've just got to hope for that now.

@abzzinhoo Can we cut out this ridiculous overreaction? Reece James is a top talent, but he has not got better pure ability than Trent Alexander-Arnold. Add to that the fact that he's missed 29 Premier League games over the last 3 seasons. The best ability is availability. End of story.

@JamesPearceLFC Klopp’s got a point but I think a world class goalkeeper saves both of the first two goals conceded. If Alisson had played, we would’ve won the match comfortably and not needed a crazy comeback at the end.

@empireofthekop He deserves to get criticised for that. Lazy defending. Lack of engagement with Chiesa leading to him easily getting a shot off. In that situation, you have to close the attacker down when they're that close to goal. Poor defending - he has to be more aggressive.

@LiamMLFC We've still got to go to some very difficult grounds in the second half of the season. I'll be surprised if we don't lose another game between now and the end of the season. However, we are the team to beat at this stage of the season, which is a fantastic position to be in!

@SamueILFC At 18 years old he’s been carrying the midfield on his back for a good 6 weeks. He’s such a young player and there will therefore occasionally be inconsistency in his game but I have faith he’ll be a top player for us in the future.

@anikp91 @papil017 Are you a clown? You’ve obviously never heard of the 2005 Champions League Final or the 2006 FA Cup Final, games in which Gerrard dragged us to victories. One slip against Chelsea doesn’t change the fact he was one of the best players to have in a big game.

@WilcoFtbl I think for purely rotational reasons I’d move Elliott into midfield and play Doak on the right wing, while moving Bajcetic to right back to bench Gomez. We don’t want to pick up any injuries and Gomez is an important member of the squad - he may have to play against Tottenham.
