@GovKathyHochul Ma’am unemployment. The deadly pandemic. The excelsior pass. All workers deserve a fair wage but you need 2 to 3 jobs to even get an apartment in the city. People are being thrown out their homes and dying on the streets.

The Grey and Native American markets are going to explode with product. Small cultivators don’t stand a chance between license fees, commercial grow spaces, and the exclusion of legacy players. Pay to Pay shouldn’t be the model for the “most equitable cannabis industry.”.

Most of the conditional license holders in NY don’t even meet the qualifications but their applications were still approved. Grey Market is going to the only place for legacy.

@amouIie92 @nys_cannabis Due to the timing it took to get everything licensed it was the middle of the grow season. To navigate this some (not all) cultivates chose to grow autoflowers which are less potent and grow smaller than traditional photoperiod cannabis.
