It is not a coincidence that when I stopped being in constant pain I stopped wanting to kill myself all the time. The psychologist can’t seem to figure it out but it seems pretty fucking straightforward to me. Not suffering constantly means you actually want to be alive.

Disability is a medical term. Would you be interested to know that people with glass very much can be considered disabled because it’s illegal for them to drive without glasses. If they weren’t disabled, they wouldn’t be forced to use an accommodation for the safety of others.

You skipped past the part where she says she can’t go somewhere else because she can’t walk and something is wrong with her body. Disability often precedes drug addiction when not properly treated. Disability pays less than 10k a year. So people end up homeless and disabled.

I worked uber, doordash, transcription, etc for three years because my health didn’t allow me to get a regular job. I found a job that hired me because I didn’t bring attention to my accommodations until after and got extremely lucky with schedule freedom. That’s disability.

At age 17 was emancipated due to various kinds of abuse, but they left my sisters. We called CPS, they investigated, they called me a liar and never talked to my sisters. Even if one can escape, it sometimes means nothing for the rest. I don’t understand that.

Actually, some psychiatrist do endorse this. my psychiatrist endorse me breaking popsicle sticks when I have episodes where I want to hit myself and break things (ptsd/autism), it’s not an end point though. You work on transitioning and do groups to work through though process.
