shouldn’t be so prevelant that you expect random men to rape you. Women have a right to go in public spaces just the same as men and allowing them to use sexual violence to have monopoly over that spaces is misogyny.
You are complicit in the abuse of women.

The addition of the bus holding mental patients also shows how he feels about people with mental illnesses/disabilities as well 😑😡
PSA Yelling “breathe” or “relax” to someone panicking/having an anxiety attack isn’t helpful without instructions on how to breathe or relax. It actually just makes things worse because now they are panicking & having someone yell at them.

And afterwards she was reunited with many of the women who she gave abortions to and helped them have children! So the abortions saved their lives and the lives of their future children.

People routinely forget child victims in the conversation and invalidate the horrific things ppl have to endure to fit their own rhetoric. You deserved more points for speaking up. You didn’t deserve to be re-traumatized for speaking the truth. I’m so sorry.

I was raised super poor and so we were taught to just cut around the bad parts, take out the bad pieces. and it’s been so hard to adjust to being a poor adult and having to throw away food because I know it’s what’s best.

From my understanding, it seems like she’s saying that it’s reality that most people are genuinely too exhausted trying to live and not become depressed, that the “threat of facism” under a GOP president doesn’t matter.
Because people are too focused on literally surviving.

The most ignorant thing I’ve seen is people say that pain cannot kill you. I’ve had pain so bad that hallucinated. I’ve had pain so bad that I pulled my own hair out. I’ve had pain so bad that I haven’t slept for three days. Pain can kill. Pain sucks hope & leaves nothing.
@living_upward
@mobleywho
On the flip side of that, if she was mentally unstable and recently escaped from a mental hospital with a missing persons report and walked into a police station that let her go, isnt that system failure enough?
@kaylejh
It is not a coincidence that when I stopped being in constant pain I stopped wanting to kill myself all the time. The psychologist can’t seem to figure it out but it seems pretty fucking straightforward to me. Not suffering constantly means you actually want to be alive.
@ahouse4all
Today I watched a homelsss man be escorted out of a clinic by police because he went in and said he was suicidal. The problem is a mental health program for homeless people won’t solve the mental health crisis caused by homelessness.

Also as if disabled people don’t work? I’ve worked and I’m disabled, as well as coworkers with cancer, lupus, arthritis, autoimmune disorders, etc. so what do they even mean by that?
My job literally put me back on the ABD program because of how badly it hurt my body.
@entierrada
Disability is a medical term. Would you be interested to know that people with glass very much can be considered disabled because it’s illegal for them to drive without glasses. If they weren’t disabled, they wouldn’t be forced to use an accommodation for the safety of others.
@Artists_Ali
It was opioids, then benzos, then stimulants. And then they’re gonna come for everything else.

I can’t come into work any earlier than 8am, because even then i have to take my meds at 9pm latest. I wake up with enough time to get ready and nothing else.

Laws shouldn’t be made on religious views.
Would you like your laws to be made based on Muslim or Buddhist beliefs? Would that violate your religious freedoms?
It violates many people’s religious freedoms, including Jews, to make laws based on Christianity. you’re a hypocrite.

You skipped past the part where she says she can’t go somewhere else because she can’t walk and something is wrong with her body. Disability often precedes drug addiction when not properly treated. Disability pays less than 10k a year. So people end up homeless and disabled.

@aharbo
@absurdistwords
How about people don’t chokehold strangers to death because they are being emotional. I have panic disorder and PTSD. When I was homeless my meds were messed up etc. even now I have public panic attacks. A lot of ppl view that as aggression, but there is a huge difference.

You missed the point that if a “biological male” is a threat to women, that implies that all males are a threat to a biological females. Thus transmen are at real risk or being sexually assaulted in public bathrooms, but you don’t care about that.
And that’s your own logic.
@HannahntheWolf
I worked uber, doordash, transcription, etc for three years because my health didn’t allow me to get a regular job. I found a job that hired me because I didn’t bring attention to my accommodations until after and got extremely lucky with schedule freedom. That’s disability.

There are so many other reasons. Like someone else owns that house. That was the situation with us growing up when we needed food
@RachelNeedsANap
I think some therapists think that by validating of these things that they will validate your “catastrophizing.” And i think that clinicians need to learn the difference between catastrophizing and a realistic situation that cannot be changed.

It’s not a mentally ill person’s responsibility to do the police’s job, which was quite literally to locate her, when they seek help. Think about what you’re actually saying, because its that we cant trust police to communicate with mentally ill people.

This is ridiculous. The lab report came back negative and they didn’t give you any reversal agents. I hate how medical professionals can get away with this type of abuse.

I don’t know if you’ve heard any of the cops commentary before or after this but it’s a large reason why I believe the word crazy is a slur and a very real reason people are killed. They told the EMTs he was acting crazy, not once or twice, but so many times to cover themselves.
@RachelNeedsANap
If a therapist and psychologist don’t recognize the things that you can’t change about your life and how they impact you then they aren’t good clinicians. You can’t change my mind.

So the child’s potential last words to their parents mean nothing because their parents can’t save them?
Sometimes the humanity of having a loved one *with you* during a horrific event is completely overlooked. That’s valuable even if they cannot be saved by their parents.

You only think it’s okay because she’s not a Christian and that’s how you treat non-Christian woman. That’s his Mom and the Bible says to respect and love your parents.
@BlackRadAnarcho
And it’s only due to supportive teachers and someone giving me a place to live that I was emancipated. This path is so limited that i’ve yet to meet another emancipated teen irl, but i’ve meet countless abuse victims. It’s not enough, I needed help at 8, 9+ years is torture.
