@wildtiktokss
Flying from Chicago to Cincinnati is a failure of transit policy.
They’re 300 miles apart. If the US had high-speed rail like China, Japan, Spain and Germany do, you could get from one to the other in just over an hour, no need to get on a plane
@TXTanoStan99
Ahsoka Tano’s voice actor is LGBTQ and the character herself is bisexual.
Nevermind Ahsoka, Jesus Christ would disavow you as a hatemonger
@azureScapegoat
All jokes aside, from what I understand, the Japanese Communist Party is one of the best in all of Asis, and the only one that isn’t full of red flag reactionary authoritarians
@Zoomer_Doomer_
If we were a sane country, the two-party system would unironically be the progressive dems vs the centrist/liberal conservative dems
The Republicans are an anti-democracy party, we should not be running the risk of letting them win anything ever
@SocDoneLeft
My view as a communist is that every political party and politician, no matter how good their values are, are constrained by the inherent limitations of bourgeois democracy.
Yes, it’s a good idea to get more leftists elected, but when they’re actually in a position to do so
@CoreyQ1234
@wildtiktokss
I notice you conveniently left out China there lol.
They have trains that go over 200 mph, they make our transit system look like that of a developing country.
@ExquisiteRebelN
Also I’m pretty sure this person is at the same time in favor of if not child brides, women getting married at 18 to become obedient baby making housewives
@USA_Polling
This is very misleading
A) Nevada’s political geography is just terrible for Republicans (in the way that Wisconsin’s geography is terrible for Democrats)
B) 7 Republicans were elected uncontested, which does not give an accurate representation of how votes were cast statewide

That’s the thing- he doesn’t. He does giveaways to random people.
Would be much better if he just donated money to reputable organizations that help with things like lifting people out of poverty or housing refugees, groups, but that wouldn’t give him the clout…
@Crisis_Producer
I’ve gotta say, I’ve noticed a depressing trend in the number of disaproia Asian-Americans who are causally racist towards other Asians.
Like, please don’t give white people a run for their money when it comes to causal racism, let them have that.
@thornwhaletail
I’ve always thought “boysmell” was the scent of boys with such amazing aftershave it makes you horny
I’m horrified at the thought y’all being down for body odour and bad hygiene
@Missingbend
@numfuksteinstan
Crockett could potentially become a Governor or Senator in the 2030s
Depends on what happens in the 2026 Senate and Governor races
If Cornyn runs, it will very likely be his last term, giving us a rare opportunity of open seat in 2032. Same thing for Abbot, but in 2030 instead.
@bonxixha
@mikestrypes
@lovedoveclarke
This is why y’all need to be dating bisexual men
Bisexual men are great, they’re not prone to the “proving my masculinity” shit, way more emotionally open, and they usually have good personal hygiene.
@NoContextUSA
I was 6, I wasn’t aware of the world economic recession caused by the internet failings of capitalist financial institutions, I just thought Poker Face was a banger
@Roisin_Dub
Yes, I’m gonna take 5 minutes to vote against a fascist.
And once I’m done with that, it’s straight back to organizing, promoting unionization drives and tenants rights orgs. What are you doing, except larping on twitter?
@CA_Commissioner
This isn’t relative to the nation, this is how each state will trend from how it current is.
Iowa and Missouri, for example, are red rn, and will probably be at the federal level for the next decade and a half, but the long term trends in each are better for the Dems
@tmanhuge
@wildtiktokss
A train travelling at 220 mph would take 1 hour 20 minutes (AKA just over an hour) to reach Cincinnati from Chicago.
Not to mention trains are cheaper and much more comfortable than planes, I think that’s a good trade off.
@vlntnegrl
Mine was rainbow, sunshine, cloud, raincloud, thundercloud
I was a very shy and quiet kid at school, so I was usually always put on the cloud cause my teachers would be annoyed with me for not speaking loud enough
Tbh tho that wasn’t nearly as bad as middle school
@unimportantspam
It could also be there was enough ultra right-wing white supremacists in Georgia who refused to vote for Walker because he’s African-American, so voting Libertarian was a protest vote of sorts
@JMilesColeman
For those that don’t get the joke, it’s that Louisiana has “parishes” instead of counties.
Only Louisiana and Alaska have different names for their county-equivalents, with Alaska calling theirs “boroughs”
@wildtiktokss
In seventh grade a guy I didn’t like stole my best friend so I spent four months catfishing him so I could spread the rumour about him having a fake girlfriend and get him laughed at
Shit worked, and yes, I was that petty, I was 12
@Leo_the_rat
I made these state by state in Election Shuffler & Redistricter, so I couldn’t tell you for sure the popular vote
This would’ve been the electoral college map
@gavinbena
Ocasio-Cortez & Buttigieg doesn’t have the same ring to it as Regan & Bush
Also, I’m not sure AOC would pick Pete Buttigieg as her running mate. Sure, she might go for a more generic Democrat, but I’d imagine someone like a Chris Deluzio type
@TheShinjiMarine

Cuba isn’t socialist, nor is it a democracy.
There is no such thing as a “worker’s dictatorship”, there is just dictatorship.
The liberation of the workers can only be achieved by the dissolution of the state.
@libertarian_bee
Ngl I feel like even Missouri would go blue in this scenario.
It’s a red state, sure, but there’s a more than average amount of diehard Trump supporters here that I could see throwing it for DeSantis in a potential 3-way vote
@umichvoter
Ngl it will be kind of funny seeing her run in 2024 as a “moderate” Democrat, fundraise from Republican donors and still loose by double digits
@leftistlitwick
We can acknowledge that Cuba has done some genuinely impressive things, in spite of the fact it has been subject to a US embargo and massive sanctions for the last 60 years, but that doesn’t mean we have to full-throttle throat the Cuban state of bureaucratic authoritarians
@imaginemh
I’ve always looked at these anti-trans arguments that reactionary faux-feminist white women make and think “If it were 1953, they’d be saying the exact same shit about black women, wouldn’t they”
@BreakingBadIrny
I’m once again asking Netflix to make a LGBTQ series that doesn’t have the “two white gay boys from affluent backgrounds and with supportive families fall in love” shtick going on.
@fugalise
@House97Glass
Redemption and growth is good, actually.
If you don’t believe people can atone for bad shit they’ve done or said in the past, you are fundamentally not a leftist.
