same. Inazuma feels like it was rushed in both region and story even though it took a year to release, I'd rather they took their time with Sumeru and do it properly even if it takes forever
if they're running out of content, there are plenty of old events they could rehash
Given that Masses are cancelled, my parents just spent half an hour watching a service in Irish, before they realised it was Church of Ireland.
At which point, they spent five minutes tutting about various things which are "not like us" before turning it off in disgust.

You're one to talk, Cloud, looking down on people cause you got a fancy new update.
You didn't have too many polygons yourself when you were trying to scrounge ladies underwear at the Honey Bee Lounge.
the fact this is for a tournament not only based around Melty Blood but also including the game where you can fight as Mokkan from Ryo-Kyu-Bu, the loli basketball anime, is just hilarious.

to be fair we took the bit of our brain dedicated to predicting the path of a thrown rock and developed the ability to annihilate all life on earth with ICBMs. It's a useful starter skill.

I would honestly play a game where you follow a samurai or knight around, carry their stuff and serve tea but only if you get to play as a cute loli or an even cuter shota

Far from Martin's "we were all complicit" narrative, it's worth remembering all the people who worked to get those girls out of the system under the radar and out of sight of society

men are generally amazing at cooking. the trade-off is they consider it a special occasion to show off their skills, since in normal solo operation they will just horse something into them to continue being alive
most of the top chefs are men, but it continues all the way down

The hysterics that one gets in Ireland are great. I mean Croke Park's only been in the exact same spot since 1884 (and Casement from the 1950s)

I remember when I meeting my runaway uncle for the first time some years ago, a dab hand at psychology, who was stunned that my father or mother had never held me, or raised a hand other than to strike. I was 21 at the time.

Ah, right, the British govt. is prepared to "cover the cost" for intense surveillance of Irish citizens.
How generous of them. Wonder how the same restrictions would go down in Bristol?

I went to watch Haruhi one time with an audience of zoomers and they were literally appalled.
not only was it ubiquitously popular at the time, but it was also completely uncontroversial. Well, until Endless Eight at least.
how far have we fallen.
hashtag appears to be from a petition to "Suspend UK export of tear gas, rubber bullets to USA",
which while I don't disagree, it's ironic as rubber bullets were invented as a "soft"(not soft) weapon in N. Ireland and we couldn't get a good petition going to ban their use here.

"exclusively used by females"
It's like you don't even know the meaning of your own words, either that or English may not be your first language, and of so I apologise, but "I'm my own man"/"He's his own man" is idiomatic and common usage.

This is what protest looks like. If we had a few days of strike like this against landlords and co-living and direct provision maybe the gov would fucking listen.
Don't whinge. Join them.
got to laugh at a lot of these assumptions but my favourite is "all new vehicles electric, average vehicle weight 1000kg"
the average EV weighs twice that, with no new viable battery chemistries on the horizon. you aren't getting a vehicle under 1000kg without a petrol engine
1. Reminder of what ‘net zero’ really means. This graphic from UK Govt FIRES project. Key points: all airports except Heathrow, Belfast & Glasgow to close by 2030. NO FLYING at all by 2050. No new petrol/diesel cars by 2030; by 2050 road use restricted to 60% of today’s level.

Pretty much sums up American public morals and ethics. Fine when it comes to violence, but puritan when it comes to sexuality.

Actually, no. People in Britian and their govt. largely didn't give a stuff about terrorism in NI as long as it happened over there. They kept electing govts which made the situation worse.
It was only when bombs started going off in England that it became relevant for them.

Between this and the "don't say anything to your crush you wouldn't say to your manager" one, I'm genuinely terrified some people are losing the ability to communicate and we'll all end up as the passive-aggressive, soulless corporate drones we use to make fun of.

As if learning foreign languages was somehow alien to the citizens of the City of Light.

I'll never be able to take lectures on translation seriously from people who think "it can't be helped" is stilted and unnatural but "mansplaining incel" is natural English.
