@AnaOpp The volume levels in bars are the subject of insane amounts of scientific research into the optimum dB level to increase alcohol consumption per square inch of bar. You're better off going to a joint where someone's taste in tunes is an actual selling point (or with no music).

@alannah_siobhan I mean sure, no bigotry exists in a vacuum without context, I'd argue that it was a successful experiment in creating nurturing and harnessing an online hate movement, and sucking in a lot of very young people who would've rather died than be seen near a tea party rally etc.

@alannah_siobhan Gamergate was never referenced by name in this 2014 tumblr post but it's fair to say it would've fit right in. There's a lot more steps between "gamergate" and "Trump in the white house" but I don't think it's a particularly reactionary take.
