@ElmaRyder Maybe, if for one moment, u actually acknowledged Palestinian suffering, people might pay you some attention. You see one side. You absolutely refuse to see or recognise the tens of thousands of murdered Palestinians. So please don’t lecture us about ‘deafening silences’.

We work in the same university. I am willing to debate the issues with you, or any other colleagues. Any time.
It becomes clearer by the day that there is a concerted effort by the Government, under pressure from the EU, to undermine Ireland's neutrality. Every opinion piece is repeating the same line - the absence of actual debate is worrying.

It also poses questions for Ireland’s new gambling regulator. The same companies all operate in Ireland, and, if they are engaged in the same practices here, they are committing egregious offences of EU law on Digital Services and data protection norms. This must be investigated.

Politico reports that Trump is considering nominating former Illinois gov. Rod Blagojevich, who served eight years in prison on corruption charges, to be US ambassador to Serbia, according to two people familiar with the discussions. It would be entirely consistent with the most corrupt US administration since Nixon's to appoint a convicted grifter, who recently reappeared in Serbia to support Vučić (not without charge, naturally), to an ambassadorial post.

The Baltic States 🇱🇻🇱🇹🇪🇪 have successfully disconnected from the Russia-controlled power grid – this morning at 9:09, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia began operating in autonomous mode, just before synchronizing with the European power grid! This is a significant step toward our energy independence.⚡️ The system is stable and secure, and as soon as tomorrow, we will fully integrate with the European power grid!
