Rubber bullets were invented by the British Army for use in Northern Ireland during the Troubles. They're far from safe, they cause permanent injuries and they can and do kill people. They're not "non-lethal".
Wild that we're still seeing a narrative of rubber bullets being safe when they've repeatedly been shown to cause serious injuries, such as permanently blinding people, and even deaths.
'Rubber bullets are safe' is propaganda, don't fall for it.
