Other major Ukrainian cities, even Kyiv, were always merely frontier outposts to the Russian Empire.

Most Russians have zero fucking problem with the invasion, they're just pissed it made them international pariahs for like 0.05 seconds. Their problem is how their military isn't killing us more efficiently, not that it's killing us at all.
Because not all Russians support the invasion + there have been multiple reports of kidnappings and violent suppression of those who oppose it, not to mention there is severe pushback by global powers. Israelis are all colonizers and have actively contributed to genocide. Delete.
