a little over a year ago after Sac PD gunned down Stephon Clark who was unarmed and in his grandmothers back yard with no consequence. It was clear that appealing to the conscience of a morally bankrupt mayor wasn’t going to change anything.
I joined DSA during the 2016 DNC when the Clintonites responded to Bernie delegates chanting "No more war!" with "USA!" I didn't do much until right after the 2016 election, when some friends and I decided that we needed a chapter in Connecticut.
