They have predictable sales schedules, and coordinate a mix of old and new games to go on sale, often at deep discounts for the medium old indy games where it's their last shot at a breakout and last year's AA and AAA titles that were hits but not smash hits.

@warhammer So, can you give us some insight into why the price changes? I can see net margins are down, but they're still above 25% as of the november 2023 financials, which is pretty much industry leading. Are material prices up that much? Labor? Shipping? Major new tooling costs?.
