The Five “Civilized” tribes all owned slaves. And tried to keep us enslaved past the emancipation proclamation due to sovereignty. Black natives have had ongoing problems trying to gain/maintain tribal citizenship/rights post slavery. To this day.

There’s an article called I Can’t Afford My Friends Anymore about salary descrepancies in friendships and how that affects outings/the friendship. That’s a way more interesting discussion to me than money and dating.
