Maybe it’s just me but if my friends daughter said she doesn’t like living at home bc of the step father my first inclination would be to make sure that he’s not doing anything to her, not give her this bootstrap ass advice.
My friends 18 year old daughter asked me for a ride and on the way told me she hates living with her mom cause of the step dad. so I told her to get a job and move out if she doesn’t like it. three weeks later my friend texting me that I had no right to say that. am I wrong?.
