@AvisharDutta this is because they are wide enough to support commerce! this seems to be in the afternoon, in evenings the footpath along the beach are crowded with both people and vendors

@soma_as_moon7 @jsensarma why would it help with retention? why would the experienced R&D team move to Belgaum when the primary motive to sticking with BHEL is gone (dirt cheap cost of living in a tier 1 city)

@Geogeek0 yeah i agree! the main problem isnt that there isnt BRT on the planned expansion, rather there isnt a plan for expansion in the first place.
@Utkarsh50755661 @RishiJoeSanu in Pune, the new growth areas should be west of Ravet (Marunji-Chandkhed) and the triangle btwn Chakan Shikrapur and Lohegaon. Lay out a 6 lane grid in those areas, services in the former, industries in the latter. possibly an megauniversity in the center of latter.

@AvisharDutta @formytimefrom @bakchodgang1 @Life_On__Wheels i saw this 6 lane viaduct coming out of a 2 lane road. and thought wtf are they cooking?? looking at satellite images looked like they were 6 laning and re-aligning Champa - Korba road. now i know what its for.

@Gurujischamcha @bakchodgang1 on the other hand, TN is very stingy with state IP and rather makes it easier to open factories wherever one wants, this leads to an more suburbanized and spead out growth of the city
