With the rising pace of Expressway and Highway Construction in India, many Interchanges are coming up for uninterrupted flow of high speed Traffic. Few types of interchanges that are widely constructed in India [ 1/n ]

Olectra Greentech to set up its 2nd electric bus manufacturing plant in Maharashtra with an investment of 3000+ Crores. They've signed an MoU with MH govt, the land identified for the plant has been alloted to Olectra. Had said this last year! It's good to see this happening :)

@Amey_Kulkarni05 So true! Let's hope that the overall fleet condition will change with the delivery of upcoming buses, both Diesel BS6 & Olectra EV. More than 25,000 new buses are in pipeline in the next 5-6 years.

@Amey_Kulkarni05 @sarcaskar Yes. That's expansion of yellow line. This Red + gold will connect stations on Red line (Dahisar east + its expansion till Bhayandar) to Navi Mumbai via CSMIA

@26rjun Ho Marol Naka gate 5 la exit karun, Aqua line gate A1 ne entry ghyavi lagte. That blue to Aqua interchange could've been a bit more smoother.

@sarcaskar CSMIA T2 will be an interchange station for Red & Gold lines. One has to change line ig, although connectivity wise it would appear as a single long line like Delhi Metro blue line, connecting western suburbs to Navi Mumbai.

@WhitePillzONLY Not yet. JSW has received environmental clearance, they performed bhoomipujan. Soil testing, some preliminary works are underway. Toyota Kirloskar plant is in planning stage.

@amhiraigadkar I think the bypass is placed too far from the city centre, the radius could've been a bit smaller. People often hesitate to take such long detours.

@MrAbhiTweet Solapur needs a full ring road. Eastern part should be planned asap.

@Dakkhani_Appa Exactly. I often get stuck in this traffic. People generally avoid taking the bypass, hence congesting the city roads.

@bakchodgang1 Such poor designs are overshadowing the commendable work they've done in last decade. You'll find more such gems of NHAI if you drive around on NH361. They've built huge flyovers where there's no need, whereas busy Intersections are left without any grade separators. ICs/flyovers

One of the most screentime consuming apps on my phone, the Google Maps turns 20 today! Google Maps helped me discover new places, the satellite imagery & street view makes me spend hours and hours on the app. Thank you @googlemaps for being a companion on highway trips.
