To further highlight this point, I clicked a few houses from this very stretch of road ๐งต. As you can see they can put sometimes put American McMansions to shame. Some of these houses have luxury and even vintage cars. "Rural" Kerala is nothing like rural India.
Weird quirk of Kerala's sprawl wherein which all of these are legally classified as "rural" Kerala. Does this look like a stereotypical Indian village to you?
