@JoshWoogsLFC He wasn’t average, he was a very good player in his pomp. His first spell in Italy especially at the two Milan teams, he was brilliant. He was never very quick but once he lost his pace he became a target man with good technique. He wasn’t as good as Lewandoski or Suarez though.

As a Liverpool fan Mane was brilliant in his last 7 months, a bit crap for 18 months before it and brilliant for the 3 years after he joined.

When there’s a ball over the top against Liverpool or city, Ederson and Allison deal with it bor at least are right on top of the forward smothering them. DDG can be glued to his line.

Scholes couldn’t play right wing where Gerrard arguably had his best season. Like Rooney, Gerrard was blessed with extraordinary physical attributes.
