It has nothing to do with religion, that narrative is a cop out. I was raised and taught in the Irish medium sector, which unbeknownst to many, is completely non denominational. There is nothing wrong with having a political ideology, don’t speak about it like it’s shameful.
I’m a catholic married to a protestant woman. We bring our children up as neither, teaching them about both sides history... I thought we’d moved by all this green vs orange crap but the last few days is embarrassing on here. I’m so happy I was raised in ignorance of all that!

AQE have decided, due to COVID-19, that the transfer tests cannot proceed this year. This severely limits parental choice & children’s opportunities, with disappointment for many children & parents. I will continue to work with all stakeholders in these difficult circumstances.
