@stan_okl It literally looks like these neighborhoods were just frozen mid-motion. That they had been growing and changing for decades as the population did, and then all of a sudden one day the buildings just stopped changing.

I often wonder how much inflation can be cut by aggressively building more houses. We had goods price deflation in the early 00s thanks to massive growth in Chinese exports

the majority of inflation right now is literally just housing costs. we can’t fix that with high interest rates. YIMBYism is the only solution

I’m not pro terrorism, I’m just at a rally with people who are sympathetic to terrorists, chanting slogans which are popular with terrorists, deflecting away and denying the terrorists worst crimes, while loudly demanding the terrorists strategic objectives

The great housing paradox: Everyone agrees that housing affordability is one of Australia’s biggest economic problems, if not the biggest, but promising genuinely to fix it will ensure that you don’t get elected. @TheNewDailyAu

Generation Z is taking over. And in financial terms, these young people are doing extraordinarily well. Zoomers are much better off than millennials were at the same age, as well as the other preceding generations. What does this wealth mean?
