It's very bizarre being an Ontarian in Florida right now. Even elderly people going into enclosed spaces without masks or fear. If they had seen a lot of their peers croaking from covid the last 2 years, wouldn't they take more precautions? I feel we've been brainwash in Canada.

To those who ask why we can't learn to wear masks forever, as we've learned to wear clothes, I say: humans have been wearing clothes for millennia. We obviously see more pros than cons. The same can't be said of masks, which were dropped after the Plague, the Spanish Flu, etc.

Roundtable with Minister of Education @Sflecce . He says 95 percent of Ontario schools had HVAC upgrades since Thanksgiving 2020. Better frequency air circulation, MERV filters, more filter changes, portable HEPA filters where needed, plus nearly $500m this year for 1600 schools.

Carleton University's decision to move courses online for winter is inexcusable. Kids and faculty are vaxxed and masked. Restaurants, shops, museums and stadiums open. How does this make sense? What about the education and mental health of students?

My sign is up. I've spent days distributing dozens of them. This is what parents need to resort to in Ontario for their kids to have basic rights. Not so in other provinces, where announcements have already been made that kids will return to normal school in September. @Sflecce
