My husband's coworker, who is maybe 51 years old, just died of pneumonia in the hospital. He wasn't even sick long enough for his workers to know he was sick, then he was dead. 😢

My grandmother technically paid mine off when she left me money when she died. And due to trauma as a teen, I never finished school and instead struggled with trying to scrape a living.
I am very very happy for the people who get help with their student loans.

Also, there is SO SO much salt in vegetarian/vegan products. People with kidney issues just can't eat them, and I also cannot eat many oxalates so potatoes and most greens are actually dangerous to me in quantity

This poor nurse I saw a few weeks ago, working with a migraine off and on for days. She also said she was just so, so tired and that everyone in her office was tired. She'd had COVID and said it was leftover fatigue.
Dr I saw there said everyone was doing great "post-COVID." 🤪

Yep, and then NSAIDs are super-dangerous too. (For me I can't take them due to kidney disease.) But they can GIVE kidney disease and other issues too.
It's scary there aren't a lot of other acute pain options.

A radiologist really made my life better! I asked her to find "anything that could cause pain" and she was the first one to accurately find adenomyosis. Also found an endometrial cyst and hip bursitis, which my rheum needed. Previously I was just a "guess" for endometriosis.

The issue is that THIS particular monkeypox strain is weaker, it has a 1% fatality rate and also seems more contagious.
Viruses mutate sometimes which is why this one is different.

I am just guessing here but methotrexate (also a cancer and rheumatoid arthritis drug) is used to terminate ectopic pregnancies. There is a specific dosage that would tip a pharmacist off. (I am on the same drug for autoimmune issues.)

If you have any friends who have had health struggles, they'll get it. Chronic illness life is hard, but you're not alone.

At GW Hospital, where Leana Wen works, an entire women's health surgery team quit and they're not replacing it. My cardiologist quit in May. My colorectal surgeon (who I just got last year) quit last month.
I had 9 doctors at GW. 2 remain.

I was less disabled in 2016 and worked the polls. ALL of the people working the polls were disabled and it's by design. You get a small stipend and work about 15 hours.
When disabled people needed help, disabled people helped them.
