Sadly, an incident took place in West Croydon tonight where a young man was injured with a large knife. This serves as a reminder for those who can to keep supporting us all to continue the work that we do which is to keep young people safe from serious youth violence
This amazing man Julius Cools lost his son Jermaine Cools to a horrific murder (2021)in West Croydon. Mr Cools is a Chef and cooked a healthy, tasty meal for the young people in a Centre accross the road from where his son was murdered

Tears roll down my face, On Monday over 1000 were in attendance as we raised awareness on knife Crime, schools in attendance, youth groups and programmes. This morning in the early hours Croydon lost a 20 year old to knife crime. We cannot stop working hard to reduce knife crime

My prayers are with the family that received the news that their son has died due to knife crime this morning in the streets of Croydon. No parent should have to bury their child. Devastated. We must not stop continuing to work hard against knife crime
Sadly a 16 year old boy was stabbed today in Croydon. Thankfully he is alive but this is a reminder, that despite no murders there are still stabbings and agencies need to continue to work together to bring about change in our community.

I’m sure if given time and space, they have the expertise and passion to navigate a pathway
