Shouldn't be due any praise. City never got out of first gear, didn't play particularly well and never looked like losing. Ref kept them in it 1st 30. He made some tweaks with 15-20 to go when City tired and they had a bit of a go.

Whats funny about that is Martial has spent 9 years at Utd and not ever looked like learning the most basic of movements and runs for a CF. Whatever you think of Nunez, he is absolutely brilliant in terms of movement, and that was clear ar Benfica.

Maybe they are, but their approach is considered sustainable because they've pumped a few bad teams for 5 and 6. Yesterday, Porto, pre Jan levels come back, and they might not do enough to avoid 0-0s. I don't think Liverpools approach is less sustainable, esp over 9 games.

Why would we sign a 30+ year old midfielder though given we have no legs there. Barella is v good at playing forward passes and carrying the ball which we don't really have atm. And then add in he will pop up with a few goals, good signing.
