You realize $TSLA IR is regularly and consistently violating Reg FD when they 'walk' sell-side estimates down just before releasing their own consensus. This has been happening for years. This is a clear SEC rules violation.

Another analyst cuts Tesla delivery numbers just before Martin compiles his “sell side consensus.” 410k looks a lot better compared to 425k than 475k. Of course, Tesla has gone ex growth in deliveries and is about to report negative yoy revenue growth. $TSLA

To be clear, I don't know what's more stupid, that Reg FD itself is a stupid rule, or the way the SEC enforces insider trading stupid, or it's just stupid that Reg FD is regularly violated w/ no enforcement. Regardless, $TSLA is breaking Reg FD & should be sanctioned.

I am surprised I've seen no discussion on the "economic waste" argument of a shareholder vote on a retroactive comp package for Elon. $TSLA $TSLAQ I hadn't considered it but I am sure the BoD is being counseled on this. Elon seems to be out of luck here.

The reality: 1) murder has extremely low recidivism b/c it is generally an impulse crime (jilted lover, etc.) 2) people 'age out' of crime. Long sentences serve no societal purpose other than vengeance.

A layup political prosecution will be to investigate asylum/immigration law firms who have been feeding 'asylum narratives' to migrants to 'buy' them 2-4 years before any ICE hearing. It's almost too easy I wonder why we haven't seen any prosecutions yet.

@Marc_Fagel @StockJoke Right. The profitable individual defense cases are referred by GCs of HFs who pay for individual defenses. We never hear of most successful defenses b/c the cases are fought down before charges filed. But it's a big piece of white collar defense practices.

@Justice_Blinded No, not the date the sentence commences. BOP calculates release date once you surrender (using the judgment order). Conviction itself occurs at sentencing. The sentencing date OR the date judge signs judgement. Not sure which. (Usually these are the same date though.)
