@Huddled_Up @issaiamagi Some people have terrible cramps, but honestly, you're pretty close. Just imagine it lower down, occasionally more sharp and stabbing, and lasting for days while you're pretending to be a normal person and popping pain meds.

@VioletIsABee @RadFemme74 @_celia_bedelia_ Hey, I'm a woman and I bully women perfectly fine. My gender has no impact on my ability to hate you. Because you're a terrible person with a poor understanding of evolution.

@nobody46137082 @NintendoSega54 @GayBearRes @pullrack Why do people insist on discussing nationalized healthcare as if it were a hypothetical? It exists and this isn't true.

@JayHowarth87 @AmyClukey I think you'd be shocked at how lazy some of these students are. Legitimately leaving in phrases like "as an AI language model" and quotations and citations that don't exist. They aren't reading what they submit.

@JasonLaug @KnowingBetterYT Agreed. This study has the best data and it's mostly self-report on an arbitrary scale-- conducted by a Christian group with right-wing funding. Every cites Brian Ray because he evangelizes for his lobbying group. I wish a 3rd party would actually do this research.

@JasonLaug @KnowingBetterYT It's not .5% less, it's .5 point... which appears to have an unclear scale? .5 a point on a 7 point scale. And the schools were lower 'quality' in the sense of selectiveness, with 1.5 less likely to get advanced degrees. (I can see how that would confuse you, because it's weird.)

@JasonLaug @KnowingBetterYT And for reference, Brian Ray is running one of the biggest homeschool lobbies full of christian nationalists advocating for zero oversight-- whose own daughter alleges educational neglect.

@JasonLaug @KnowingBetterYT All of that homeschooling research is poorly done. It's ideologically motivated af. The lead researcher is Brian Ray, the guy running a homeschool lobby. He cherry-picks his samples-- because there is no register of homeschooled kids.

@RTBaggins @KnowingBetterYT It's wild how upset people get about various methods of teaching math. People really think that having been through school makes them an education expert. Well, I've been to a doctor's office and I can't do surgery.

@Coolzippity @SemiCynic @littmath I'm sure the teacher has explained this as one of the methods, but kids will remember whatever came most recently as the 'only way'. Which is why common core involves teaching a wide variety of methods for kids to later choose from-- some very efficient, others more conceptual.

@GeneNLeslie1 @tinajkl @mushycrouton You planning on genetic testing people? Hormone panels? ID checking?

@GeneNLeslie1 @tinajkl @mushycrouton Keep lying to yourself. Now it's harassing trans women, before it was lesbians, and before that it was black woman. You're just part of the newest hateful mob.

@GriN_Smyler @satsumadesho @AlenSeress That shows a lack of imagination. You think the only valuable art is literally representational? You can't do any heavier intellectual lifting? That's a very lazy view of art.

@mib0x @poorlyreasoned It's wild to me that you can just not have opinions. Is it that it's like, a little okay to hate gay people? Only occasional mild misogyny? Build the border wall, but not like in a racist way?
