Hamas was elected in Gaza 17 years ago, in 2006. They won with 44% of the vote. There have been no elections since then. The voting age is 18. That means one would have to be at least 35 to have voted. Over 65% of Gazans are under 25. "They voted for this" is an invalid argument.

My stepfather was there for my brother being delivered by c-section. The first thing he said to me was "I couldn't believe someone could survive that."
@KetracelBlack
Reconstruction should have consisted of:
1. Every Confederate officer gets a long drop with a short stop.
2. All slaver land and goods confiscated and distributed to former slaves.
3. Federal troops, recruited from former slaves, occupy the former Confederacy for 50+ years.

"antisemitism *is* real and it *is* rising"
...and much of that *is* the direct result of Zionists conflating anti-Zionism with antisemitism

"Five multiplied by nothing (no increase and no decrease) is still five."
Nope.
If I have no pennies, no nickels, no dimes, no quarters, and no silver dollars, that doesn't mean I have 5 coins.

If any Californians here catch COVID, I suggest going in person 1 day later to the California Department of Health to ask clarifying questions in person.

You make an accusation, you back it up with evidence. I'm not planning on scrolling down your timeline or doing any other silly homework you think you're assigning.

"The UN has historically been extremely biased against Israel."
Utter nonsense. Israel constantly violates international law, and has been engaged in an illegal permanent occupation of Palestine. But the United States always jumps in to help Israel avoid consequences.
@TrueSlazac
The Red Army had already broken the back of the Nazi war machine by the time significant amounts of Lend-Lease shipments arrived. Stalingrad was over. Kursk was over. Sure, those shipments helped. They fed people and ended the war sooner. But they weren't decisive.
@IsraelWarRoom
Your holy book sure doesn't say that.
Genesis 12:1 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
Genesis 12:7 At that time the Canaanites were in the land.

Israel is also in a permanent, illegal, belligerent occupation of Palestine, under international law. Being a recognized nation doesn't change that fact.

We're expected to believe Hamas set the car on fire, and all the people in the car maintained position as they slowly burned to death.

The current Palestinians (and Lebanese) can trace large parts of their genetic makeup to the Canaanites, who were in the Levant prior to the Israelites.
Maybe you are the one who needs to read a book.

It's hilarious, you calling me lazy because you can't manage to back your own claim up with anything other than piss and wind.
@MarkMeredith
It's hilarious. Ed gave a pitch-perfect example of a sincere apology, and the people who felt hurt by what he did are giving him proper grace for it.
In the meanwhile, bigots and reactionaries are wailing and gnashing their teeth in his mentions.

This graph shows that rents increased massively for 2 years, and then slightly dipped, leaving that massive increase in place. I'm convinced you haven't met an economic graph that you understand in the slightest.

Oh please. The reason didn't hang those traitors is that the Union was just as white supremacist as the Confederacy, and they wouldn't dream of putting Black people in charge of anything.

There are so many fantastic monologues in Andor:
Kino Loy's "One Way Out"
Lucien's "Everything!"
Nemik's manifesto
Brasso relaying Maarva's message to Cassion
Maarva's "fight the Empire"
Partagaz's "We treat sickness"
The writing is just amazing on this show.

So what you're saying is an Israeli race soldier was taken out by occupied people carrying out legitimate defense. Thanks for the details.
@RuckCohlchez
He seemed exactly the same. Blue MAGA is freaking out that he is calling out hypocrisy they want to pretend isn't there.
He said something along the lines of "If American democracy is on the line, why are you running this guy?" and they've absolutely flipped their wigs.
