@Michele_Tafoya I’m an independent voter who’s just shell-shocked that we got 18 minutes, edited. Why wasn’t this live? . Not giving me the confidence I need to even consider that candidate. Doesn’t strike me as remotely serious. Need a long form, unedited, live interview stat.

@GadSaad @ThierryBreton @elonmusk .@X seems to be the last stand for freedom of speech, and by extension, freedom at large.

@AdrianDittmann If @neiltyson was an honest actor, who truly cared about advancing science, he’d be pumped beyond belief about what @elonmusk is trying to achieve. He’d be cheering him on with an “LFG!” Is this guy as petty and jealous as he seems? Or just a disingenuous ideologue? Both? Either.

@OnlyInBOS This is misleading. Drivers are paid that for time they’re on a ride. But the average utilization rate in Massachusetts is around 50%. This drops the actual hourly rate to below minimum wage. Plus, drivers cover all expenses: fuel, maintenance, additional insurance, monthly oil.

@SenatorDurbin Yeah, it was awesome how they thwarted the 9/11 attacks and saved our country from that nightmare.

@rolandsmartin @realDonaldTrump @IsaacHayes3 For those who don’t understand how this works, attorneys for the Trump campaign will file a copy of their performance license from either BMI, ASCAP or both, with the court and request a dismissal of the case. The judge will dismiss. The Hayes family can request an exclusion from.

@AngelaBelcamino @JoeBiden No, you don’t speak for all. Paying the interest, or reducing that to near zero would be something worth discussing. Schools shouldn’t be building $50 billion endowments on the backs of students. Also, it’s not “canceling”YOUR debt — it’s transferring it. And it’s immoral.

@MdBreathe @calleymeans I mean, she just ran the campaign that made this all happen. If she was going to undermine or sabotage she had ample opportunity. Everyone needs to take a deep breath.

@SethAbramson I don’t follow you, I disagree with you, and yet, I’m seeing your post. Elon’s “right wing,””vanity project”is pushing this anti-Elon post to me, an Elon subscriber. He’s definitely not throttling differing opinions. Half my feed = left wing posts from accounts I don’t follow.

@LChavezDeRemer Please do NOT push the ProAct. Millions of Independent contractors and freelancers want to remain as such. We don’t want to be employees.

@rolandsmartin @realDonaldTrump @IsaacHayes3 Update: Mr Hayes made a statement yesterday that they have filed for and received an exclusion, so the song in question would no longer be covered by the blanket license. If Trump campaign has played the song since they were notified of the exclusion, they would owe performance.

@TMichaelsAuthor @funder Clearly didn’t watch the speech. I don’t even like the guy and thought it was really strong. The opposite of what you described.

@BillAckman @realDonaldTrump @60Minutes @KamalaHarris I’ll say it again, this is a breach of the public trust. As holders of a treasured federal license they have more than a journalistic and moral duty, but a statutory obligation as well. This is so egregious I believe the remedy is not a fine, or sanction, but revocation of those

@theboocer @TaraBull808 @Hertz Exact same thing happened to me only it was $900. Thankfully Amex came though for me, too. Hertz now harassing me via mail. I reply with certified mail, “show me the damage.” They can’t. Now I’m on do not rent list with all of their front companies. Class action time?.

@chiou16601 @bennyjohnson Except activist DA Alvin Bragg — who ran for office promising to “Get Trump,” — twisted the law to turn a misdemeanor into a felony and then used a novel legal theory to charge 34 instances of the one alleged violation. Trump would have eventually won on appeal.

@MrJonCryer Democracy dies when a publication purporting to report “the news” is staffed by people whose political beliefs lean 98% in one direction. You’re not producing NEWS, you’re delivering opinion disguised as fact. The way you frame issues, which stories you tell, what you ignore —.

@OnlyInBOS Shockingly unprepared. Roads weren’t pre-treated. Trucks didn’t go out for hours after the roads were treacherous. WTH is going on?. I drove in eight cities and towns last night — Boston and Quincy were particularly bad.

@SenWarren @Uber @POTUS Senator, I’m a constituent and an @uber @lyft driver and I’d really like to speak with you about this. You’re right. The companies need to do more for drivers. I’m working with other drivers on a Driver’s Bill of Rights to address this. But in survey after survey, 80-85% of.

@TheChiefNerd I respect @BillAckman so much. On the Left his whole life, had his eyes opened earlier this year and has courageously spoken out for freedom and what’s right ever since. At great cost btw, like Elon. Helping other moderate folks like me see. Inspiring guy. Thank you Bill.

@SantoroSystems I’ll explain it again. The reason Tesla exists is because of @elonmusk’s hyper optimistic outlook. His BELIEF that it is doable, is what makes it so. Ditto Space X, Neuralink, Starlink, X. It’s very difficult for most to comprehend this because we live in a world where most of.

@WholeMarsBlog @SteveSkojec You’re missing the point if a tariff, my friend. That IS the point. It’s a feature not a bug. When a country dumps cheap steel and kills our steel industry, tariffs even the playing field and protect our domestic production.

@MassAGO @Uber @lyft Let’s be clear Drivers ARE NOT “making $32.50 an hour!”. Drivers are making that amount ONLY while on trip, not while we are sitting empty wasting time waiting for a ride. This is also BEFORE EXPENSES (car, insurance, gas, maintenance, etc.). We appreciate @MassAGO trying to.

@andrewgordonmac @Uber The sleight of hand employed by Uber and Mr. MacDonald looks like a clever attempt to disguise their actual take rate and demonstrates the lack of respect they have for drivers. What they’re doing is comparing Uber’s NET take to driver’s GROSS take. They insist what they’re.

.@davidrisher we gotta talk. Lyft shows me an upfront fare of $10. I get there and the intoxicated passengers add a stop and change the destination. Trip was the EXACT SAME length of time because instead of highway miles they were slow city miles. It still took me 16 minutes.

@thekimkavin Why is this even a “national debate,” the overwhelming majority of ACTUAL gig workers want to remain independent contractors. These are outside forces who want to insert themselves into the transaction to extract profit ad middlemen and gatekeepers.

$9.36/hour ACTIVE time to transport a human being in the 5th most populous greater metropolitan area in America???. And riders wonder why the car and driver quality is inconsistent. How can @lyft @uber justify this?. Not a fan of regulation, but this is exploitation.

@sergioaved This is a great suggestion!. RIDER NOTIFICATION: . “Your driver, SERGIO, is being paid $3.04 for this trip before his expenses including gas, insurance and maintenance. Uber is keeping $6.85 for itself to cover their costs and contribute to record breaking profits.”.

Open letter to the gigwork apps: rideshare, food/package delivery, etc., . Professor @lenshermanCBS’s research estimates the cost for drivers to operate their vehicles is $13.57/hour. We don’t make a cent until that figure is reached. Please price your services accordingly.

@nataliegwinters @elonmusk Imagine publicly advocating for this sort of an enemies blacklist, and purging, like this on a national television “news” broadcast. Punishing an American citizen for their political beliefs and activity. As un-American as it gets.
