@OnlyInBOS This is misleading. Drivers are paid that for time they’re on a ride. But the average utilization rate in Massachusetts is around 50%. This drops the actual hourly rate to below minimum wage. Plus, drivers cover all expenses: fuel, maintenance, additional insurance, monthly oil.

Uber thinks drivers should not only work for free, but PAY to drive to ride pickups they haven’t properly vetted. Just drove 10 minutes to see 3 unaccompanied minors (12-13yo boys.). I cancel for “unaccompanied minors” and then am immediately pinged with the same ride. WTH?.
