It’s funny. I’m supposed to go to an “addiction” doctor for chronic pain medications. I’m not an addict. I went three days without pain meds even though it caused me to go into CRPS CRISIS and I’m still paying for it. What would you do if you were expected to go to a psychiatrist

1. I have epilepsy/migraine. No ketamine (I have grand-mal, med cont.)

Pain treatment has been reduced to a judicial process. I have NEVER been examined by a pain doctor. Simply asked questions as if I’m visiting my parole officer and abiding by a judicial order. I do a set order of guidelines, I get my medications, I don’t, I’m sentenced to death.

I won’t lie. My husband and I have considered this option if either one of us lose pain care. We both have severe pain from rare disease and have to fight for adequate, not decent, adequate pain therapy to maintain manageable QOL. It is overwhelming for my husband,my caregiver.
