@SkyNews @ashishskynews It’s very alarming that clinicians are telling young people with chest pain that a visit to A&E isn’t needed as it’s just anxiety. On what grounds? Even people with a mental health background can have heart attacks.. When will they retract this? At the first cardiac arrest?

NHS: “Long Covid is probably just de-conditioning, have you tried yoga?” Also NHS: “You must NOT donate blood if you have Long Covid!” LC Patients: “Why? What’s wrong with our blood?!” *Silence* LC Patients: “Hello??” NHS: “We’re closing LC clinics, good luck with that!” 👍

Andrew Gwynne - You were voted into a privileged position and could have done a lot of good for people genuinely suffering. Instead, you have let a lot of people down, including the #LongCovid community. Instead of fighting for those disabled, your legacy is bigotry and shame!

Those of us working in the pandemic know the truth. They hadn’t prepared for Covid, had ignored the warnings from Operation Cygnus and left us with no real PPE because they didn’t want to induce panic by telling the truth. We are disabled by #LongCovid because they didn’t act!

The most unforgivable thing was that Gov't officials then publicly denied the change to FRSM was anything to do with stock levels but ‘following the science’. This evidence to our elected Members of Parliament for goodness sake!

5yrs since the covid that gave me #longcovid. Yet it’s been a year today since I was LAST hospitalised with covid. Every reinfection makes me weaker, and takes longer to get over (back to long covid baseline). I have fought HARD to share this info, but it’s still not listened to!

@jim_reed Here is the excellent letter from CATA’s Exec Team, responding to Baroness Hallett’s refusal to make interim recommendations. Given the overwhelming scientific evidence about the airborne nature of Covid, it is a very perplexing decision which will undoubtedly cost lives.

Countless front line workers who made sacrifices day after day during the pandemic are suffering from Long Covid, unable to work and still yet to receive compensation. I know there are advocates like @GwynneMP working on this in govt, but we need @DWPgovuk to take action.
