its bc genshin is heavily catered for "stans", all the tabibito- centric interactions give u the illusion that ur character is "fleshed out" or better written when tbh it isnt, its rly jus tht hyv intended for them to appear like in-game idols (like kpop stans towards their favs)
Idk why I feel much more connected to Genshin characters compared to HSR. HSR chars feel like they’re in a scene and I’m just watching them but for Genshin chars,while still following personality tropes, feel much more real and more dimensional🥹
