The far-right and screen damaged paytriot grifters are claiming yesterday as a massive grassroots sea-change in Irish politics. Yet can barely muster enough people to hold up their sign. And absolutely no one journeyed to Dublin Castle to celebrate with them. What’s that say?

There really needs to be an interrogation how these cranks end up in Seanad. Ranting and raving about "carefully chosen" elites with barely an acknowledgement of how they themselves were put in by some quango called the Industrial and Commercial Panel. Lol.

Their 'woke' revolution is under threat, and they can't stand it. By 'their' I mean the elite carefully chosen politicians, the NGOs, the media, and the tiny minority of civil servants who were given way too much power of influence to push their agendas on the rest of us. Stay

@josefoshea @vmax_14 The far right have diverted the anger and disillusionment of working class youth away from real power. That these chants of “get them out” are directed at refugees rather than at the Dail - just as the FFG junta reshuffles their deck - says it all about who they really serve.

Apart from maybe Moncrieff's show and one or two others, Newstalk reeks of rage radio: deliberately breeding a polarised culture of hostility and aggression. Great to see it getting absolutely hammered for all to see last night.

Another question. What would this 9 MILLION have achieved if it'd been invested in the market back in the early 90s? Instead a solution was outsourced to a publican. Decades of lost opportunity. And these the very types that lecture about value for money. Daft.

@vmax_14 They're like something out of a John Carpenter film. Running around with magic wands ranting and raving about globalists while hoovering up the world for dopamine hits on Facebook.

@jenoconnell What the government can do is make them available en masse for cheap/free and not leave it to the market or bloody Lidl. The cost can be pretty prohibitive other wise. And it's not a thing you'd want people put off doing cos of financial constraints.

@Sam_Greenwood_ Hopefully the 230am sees a renaissance of obscure nights taking place in basements and function rooms in pubs across the city too. That new gen of spots like Luckys, Big Romance etc are perfectly positioned to thrive now. Also random "old man" bars with an unused upstairs.

@culturalfatwa Possibly one of the only wee alleys where you get a similar sense of the tight medieval cityscape compared to Kilkenny. And they are gonna skullfuck it for a small hotel. The brain does be scrambled.
