It’s simply disingenuous to discuss housing in terms of “choices”.
Housing is a basic need. Consistently deregulating the market to “allow” more homes be built doesn’t guarantee more homes are actually built. It has also failed to supply sufficient affordable, quality “choices”.
Or we could try giving people choices by, say, allowing more homes to be built?
