Good read- the department of housing have form when it comes to misleading data
Here’s a piece on the row over claims that 40,000 homes were built last year which featured during the election . Were voters misled by the previous government on housebuilding during the election? Here’s the evidence

@housingsupplyie @DrCameronMurray @ianmulheirn What is source for that figure- hard to get an accurate comparison here for housing burden due to high rates of outright housing ownership. We are slightly less than eu average if 20% iir, but maybe distorted.
