It’s called kintsugi (although the kits don’t use the traditional method) and it’s perfect for something like this.
I wouldn’t use it to drink out of after, but it would be beautiful to display. Or you can use it as a flower pot, which I personally like the symbolism of.

Yeah, pretty sure that’s the standard practice nowadays. Autorefractors (the device we’re talking about) aren’t as accurate as subjective or cycloplegic (dilating the eyes w/meds) measurements.
It’s one of those things where convenience doesn’t necessarily mean better.

I would avoid bathing in hydrogen peroxide, especially for people with vulvas, but one can experiment with the 3% strength on a hand or arm.

I like sciencing! I wear the same PPE mom wears. Sometimes we don’t have to wear goggles. Those are days we are writing reports. I still help her everyday though.

It’s more likely a symptom of unresolved trauma or PTSD.
They’re probably not in a great mental place to date atm & you certainly don’t have to stick around for it, but saying symptoms of an unrelated mental illness are a red flag for “narcissism” is pretty ableist and rude.
