@jbcarmody Maybe if we stopped compensating pediatric care at a 50% or lower rate for the same work, more people would be interested. It's unreasonable that peds across the board is comped at a huge discount relative to adult medicine. This is a predictable outcome. Change is needed.

@EricTopol What's the plan? We wait another couple of years? Kids are getting sick. Transmission in schools. PICUs are full. And the myocarditis in teenage boys but not girls strongly suggests a hormonal cause, which isn't present at 5-11y. 1/3 dose. Good titers. EUA needed now.

50% reduction with 1 dose of mRNA vaccine. Two doses almost certainly higher, but harder to measure because of the small number of events in fully vaccinated individuals. (When this work was done, pre delta). Get both doses!
