In summary, we report a novel way of computationally learning PPIs - using interaction language models - which can be generalizable and applicable to any PPI, and should be of great use to immunologists and non-immunologists🧵5/5. Enormous thanks to @jishnu1729 for conceiving it!

Congratulations to @jishnu1729 for this fantastic work! Proud to be a part of it - check out how we collaborated to apply SLIDE to our Type 1 Diabetes dataset!
Flagship #ML paper from my lab now out in @naturemethods. SLIDE, an interpretable latent factor regression approach, has unique statistical guarantees. Can analyze #multiomic datasets (bulk, sc, spatial etc) to provide inference beyond prediction (1/2).
