Last year I accepted the Dillwyn Medal for Humanities and Creative Arts from @LSWalesCDdCymru; this year my job @cardiffuni is in scope for redundancy. I hope the Society will honour their commitment to the humanities and arts in the face of these brutal, unnecessary cuts
Cardiff UCU call on @LSWalesCDdCymru to immediately suspend the Fellowships of Profs Larner and Walford-Davies, the architects of the plan to cut at least 400 academic staff across Cardiff University and wreck Higher Education in Wales. We're very happy to talk further if useful.
