Had an interview when Free Rad was closing. 4 mins in, I mention my salary, got told i'm being paid more than I should be, and they tried to leave.
Had to forcibly ask, and they said the max they'd offer was 20k and "it's better than nothing since i wont have a job soon" ⛳️⛳️

Probably one of the last updates I give before I post but hand painted work for the first stained glass portion. My custom smart material definitely did a lot of the heavy lifting, but hand painting is definitely essential.

I don't usually talk personal stuff online, but I felt this time was important. As most of you probably know, last Christmas, I was laid off along with all my colleagues from Free Rad. The month leading up to it and the months after was horrendous.

Just posted a scan I did a few months ago of a reactor in Battersea Power Station. Planning to eventually get round to cleaning.

However, these past few months have been a great turning point for me. Starting with the freelancer gig with airship and now a contract, i'm starting to feel almost back to normal. Recently started going to the gym again, eating better and doing a bunch of basic adult things.

Day 3 - not too much progress tonight, mainly cleanup and filling in the internals/left side
Forgot to post last night, but Day 2 - Roughly halfway ish of blocking out the major shapes. Seems a lot of things lock in nicely together so there's a couple parts in the chassis that can be ignored since they're tucked inside

I was bitter, stressed out, and embarrassed. Quickly moving back down in a matter of weeks back to London. My eating habits became worse, terrible sleep and general quality of life went down.

My Latest work is now on Artstation. This was done as a hard surface study as I haven't properly done a hard surface prop before. Learnt a lot during the process which I'll carry on to my next work.
