Extremely ex Army (South Essex Regiment)
(The Napoleonic banner pic is a clue to the use of 'extremely'. Read more in Bernard Cornwell's 'Sharpe' books.)
@TheSecretFF999
@TiceRichard
Point 3 only breaches 'international law' because it has been incorporated into UK law.
Parliament can remove it from UK law.
@tejtheartist
...and that's the thing, Tej, that you're completely right about.
It's not about colour, just about playing the victimhood culture card.
Well said.
@David_RB82
Kin, definitely.
Here in Norm Irn we have very old Welsh, Scottish and English families, as well as Irish.
Millennia of migration in every direction.

@toryboypierce
Don't be silly.
This is just a software modification.
Very easy to have variations for EU and UK.
Much easier than having to put the steering wheel on the wrong side.
@ImperiumDem
@EuroBriefing
It helps to convince others if you share your reasoning.
(Bit like in Maths tests where most marks are for showing your working out 😜)
The problem with the left, and MSM in UK is they don't want to make any comparison with other developed countries, for fear people might realise that UK is actually doing quite well, by comparison.
Another excellent thread from Derrick.
Read. It'll shock you.
This thread is not intended as an attack on Germany but an attempt to put current UK economic performance into perspective. A drop of UK SME’s reporting export growth from 35% to 22% does not compare to the economic turmoil the EU’s economic powerhouse is currently experiencing.

That's gone on for a very long time.
Remember reading a piece, more than a year ago about asylum seekers feeling aggrieved they had to wait so long for their 'papers' because they wanted to go back and visit family.
What a bonkers policy.

Think they are... And stop exaggerating numbers.
Hamas love using children (under 18) as soldiers, against international convention.
@nicktolhurst
Nice distraction from EU, particularly Germany, continuing to fund Putin's invasion, even if it were true, since 30 day grace periods appear to be law in both UK and EU.
But, hey. Don't let's facts get in the way of a good fairytale.
@thewoodheadline
@GBNEWS
There's a section of the community here that are confused and triggered by the term Northern Ireland, and the fact it's part of the UK, according to the Belfast Agreement! 😁

The Africans don't need 'White Saviours', and Bombardier is discontinuing production of the Learjet.
The reason? African despots are buying much bigger planes.🤦♂️
@DerrickBerthel1
That's what make me angry.
Everybody stoked to get rid of Truss, and we now have Sunak, and Hunt, a completely useless pair, making things worse.
When politicking is more important than outcomes.
@JRBentley7

If it is the case that their contracts were based in Jersey, it wouldn't matter what way anybody voted on it.
Also, they're maritime workers.
@graymarcuswp
@EilisOHanIon
Maybe you should read the Belfast agreement to find out what it actually says, rather when what you mistakenly believe it says.
Don't think you'll find the phrase 'hard border' mentioned anywhere.
Excellent thread on cross border trading solution emerging from Irish Revenue Service in 2017, until Varadkar out an end to it, presumably at the behest of his EU masters.
With the UK seemingly intent on taking unilateral action to ensure largely unfettered trade between GB & NI, voices have again been raised suggesting that such action would necessitate a hard border on the island of Ireland in order to protect the EU SM.

@EmmaKennedy
Except they didn't, and are still paying hundreds of millions to Russia every day.
UK still calling for a blanket ban on Russian access to SWIFT.
Phasing out Russian energy by 2030. Good one. 👍
@sandieshoes
I see reported in FT that Egypt is now the largest exporter of Oranges.
...and also, a lot of other foodstuffs, and that Anglo Egyptian trade has been greatly expanding in the last year.
Less dependency on EU good, but wonder if the Dutch are taking notice?
@bo66ie29
A great Irish man with a dry wit.
Constantly underestimated by the French.

Good that you're back on your feet again, but what about the healthcare needs of the countries that these workers are moving from?
We need to train far more of our own and stop stealing from others!
@BarristersHorse
@Glazertwalker
It's worse than that though.
They completely ignore the requests of the Ukranians who they purport to want to help, and instead are consumed by their bitter sniping mentality.

They regard themselves as soldiers, Rolo.
I'm surprised you haven't seen the various threads on here about the 3 males (two of whom were children) that launched a fresh attack into Israel a couple of nights ago?
@KingOfWrong
Mine died tomorrow a year ago.
When organising the funeral, and then probate afterwards, it never fully hits.
It's only months later that the reality settles in.
He'll always be there in your memories. You still see him coming through the front door.
Hold the happy memories💔
@Rolo_Tamasi
@robson_karl
@BenMFreeman
What?
Three males attempted to attack a settlement a couple of nights ago, fully armed, and were intercepted.
Two of them were 18 or under.
They were combatants by any definition of the word.
@clarescastle
@BarristersHorse
The problem is that it is wilful ignorance of those things that drive the anti UK, anti govt rhetoric.
There's a silent majority out there and they are watching the behaviour of the screeching minority, and making up their minds.
@ArchRose90
...and only happened because a third party alerted them.
What happened to vetting procedures, or is a certain section of the community exempt from them?
@KenHarp35576228
@Forefather2003
Ultimately, the tiny religious core need to lurch to the right with them, create clear water between them and the majority, who are moderate unionists.
The time for this extremism is long gone.
