Here's what I see in my clinical practice: After 6-12 months' use, loss of libido and gastroparesis. After stopping, so far the libido comes back, but in some cases, gastroparesis seems to persist. US law firms already preparing class action suits. Sigh.

I lived in Sweden from 1958 to 1976, then again from 2005-6. My very wealthy Östermalm friends still insist on proprietary sheets and towels in their million dollar vacation homes, and you're talking about pools???🤣🤣🤣🤣

Actually yes. It would be in most cultures. If you invite someone to your home, you invite them to SHARE your home. That includes food, beverage, shelter - and yes, sheets and towels are included. Can't believe there isn't a tutorial for Swedes on this 🤣

I think we have to be empathic here. People rely on their physicians, who ultimately bear responsibility. At the end of the day, I note desperation to fulfill a cultural ideal, and quite frankly nonchalance at best/greed at worst.

I go to Istanbul for oral surgery and prosthetic dentistry. The practice uses exactly the same hardware as in the US. Surgeon has 30 years of experience. Nothing but good things to report. Even with airfare and hotel, it's still way cheaper than in the US.

Every time I hear that a recent med grad has debt over 300K, I flinch. And then enter into a state of gratitude for their dedication, and ofc bewilderment, because in the EU, med school is largely subsidized by tax payers.

Yes! And I had a bestie in middle school who smelled like Salisbury steak! I asked her about it and she said they never ate it! Also, some people's car interiors smell like vomit. AuDHDs are often "supertasters," added to this olfactory sensitivity.
