Belfast teenagers’ response to the loud fundamentalist homophobe who shouts all over Cornmarket every weekend is to set up a jazz band right next to him and dance around with rainbow flags 😌 we really love to see it!

@AcademicChatter Perhaps more useful to consider that good ideas can come when you least expect them - walking in the park, making a cup of tea - so while you need breaks, and in fact breaks can encourage creative thinking, you should be open to ideas and ready to note them

This isn’t culture. This is illegal fly tipping & burning rubbish on a public road (resurfaced last year, DfI have no budget to do again). I support expression of culture around the 12th but this isn’t it. I have reported this to PSNI, council & the DfI & hope for removal soon.

Active travel and public transport is really important - it costs £3.70 return into town on the bus (contactless) and yet I could park in a BCC city centre car park for between 40p - £1.20 an hour. It should ALWAYS be cheaper to go by bus! #LE23
